Frequently Asked Questions

Our Q&A page helps you quickly find answers about our services, policies, and what to expect when working with All Things Pets & More. From booking to pet care and safety, this section covers our most common questions so you can feel informed and confident.

What services do you offer?

We provide pet sitting, drop-in visits, dog walking, enrichment time, feeding, medication administration (non-injectable), pet transportation, basic grooming, and personalized care plans for pets of all ages and temperaments.

What is a Pet Sitter?

A Pet Sitter is a contracted service provider who takes care of a pet in its own home.

What is daily/daytime Dog walking?

Daytime dog walking is pet sitting on a weekly, ongoing basis.  A daytime dog walker is usually hired to walk or visit dogs that need a regular break during the busy work day.

A dog walker may be scheduled for daily visits or just a few days week, often once or twice a day depending on your work schedule and the needs of the animals.

The most common dog walking visits are scheduled for somewhere between 30 and 60 minutes.

What is Pet Transportation or Pet Taxi?

Pet Transportation is safe, reliable pet transportation for vet appointments, grooming visits, or other local needs. Your pet rides securely and comfortably, and we ensure they arrive safely and on time.

How do I book a service?

You can book directly through our website using the “Get Started” button for new clients or the “Client Login” button for returning customers. Once your request is submitted, we’ll follow up to confirm availability and review any details needed for your pet’s care.

 Do you offer meet-and-greets?

Yes! We provide a complimentary meet-and-greet before your first booking. This gives us the opportunity to get to know your pet, review their routine, and make sure we’re the right fit.

 What areas do you service?

We proudly serve O’Fallon, IL and the surrounding Metro East communities, including Shiloh, Belleville, Swansea, Fairview Heights, and Scott AFB. If you're unsure whether you're within our service area, feel free to reach out and ask!

Are you insured?

Yes — All Things Pets & More is fully insured for your peace of mind, as well as the safety and protection of your pets and home.

Can you care for pets with special needs or anxiety?

Absolutely. We have training and hands-on experience working with shy, anxious, and special-needs pets. We follow your pet’s routine closely and take a gentle, patient approach to help them feel safe and comfortable.

How do payments work?

Payments are accepted through common digital methods (such as card, online invoice, or app-based payment) and must be completed before or at the start of services unless otherwise arranged.

What happens in case of an emergency?

In the rare event of an emergency, we will immediately attempt to contact you. If urgent care is needed, we will take your pet to the nearest vet or your preferred veterinary clinic, following your instructions on file.

How do you keep my home secure during visits?

We take home security very seriously. Doors are locked upon entry and exit, alarm systems are used as instructed, and we never share any personal information or access details.

Will my pet get the same sitter each time?

Whenever possible, yes. We know consistency is important for pets, and we prioritize building long-term relationships with your animal companions.
